Author Tom Price is a lifelong resident of Arlington Heights. Tom has a Bachelor of Arts degree in German and history from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky.

As a marketing professional, Tom has promoted both industrial and consumer products. After writing copy for advertisements, catalogs, and brochures, he has written his first book about his family's experiences growing up in Arlington Heights, Illinois, during the 1970s.
